Today, Governor Scott announced his intention to veto the Florida Education Finance Program line item in the budget and called for a special legislative session to be held next week, June 7-9.  The Governor is asking for $200 million more for public education which would equate to an increase of $100.00 per student.

We would like to thank Governor Scott for listening to the people of Florida and for his continued desire to invest in our students.
